2 Tier Marble Wedding Cake

 

Cake Size:

9 and 7-inch cakes are used for this 2 Tier Marble Wedding Cake

Flavours:

The base flavour used is a Gluten-Free Chocolate with the top tier being Gluten Free Raspberry and Lemon

Flowers:

Handcrafted from Gumpatse along with gum paste leaf

Summary:

The cake was completed and transported as is to the reception location, which was held at The Pavillion Mindarie

Gum paste flowers and leaves were made first and allowed to dry before being painted.

The marble effect was achieved by mixing two different shades of Pink along with Gray and White until the perfect effect was produced

Fondant was then placed and shaped around the cakes and pure gold leaf flakes were added to produce a very striking effect and really made this 2 tier marble wedding cake stand out.

The gum paste flowers and leaf was then added with two silk Pampas Grass stems used to produce what can only be described as a beautiful cake.

As mentioned the cake was delivered as-is and placed on one of our medium-sized gold cake stands and displayed at reception on a glass top table
